My house cleaning music
@mimi3000 Yes, I remember up here I’m the NYC area around 2005 or 2006,
“Soul Train came on at 1:00 am Sundays, and I knew it was the end for the
show, but in late 2008, they started airing “The Best of Soul Train” which
came on around 2:00 in the afternoon or so. Then I remember when I worked
late nights they showed the old episodes around 1:00 am. WGN a Chicago base
network actually aired the show at a respectable on Saturday afternoons.
@keonta81 No, I think they only show classic episodes on BounceTV. I didn’t
read anything about them showing the 2000’s episodes.
I used to watched this back in the mid 90s. Soul Train was my show on
WGN-TV Chicago. RIP Don Cornelius, We’ll miss you dearly.
What was song/music? Dope as hell.
@BomberMonkAssassin32 actullly the bounce channels shows episode from 71
all the way to the 2000s
REST IN PEACE DON CORNELIUS!!!
Soul Train 93′ (Know You Like to Dance) by Everette Harpe and Naughty by
Nature
oh yeah old school soul train rules
i notice that different stars hosted soul train, oh god we need to bring
this show back. we need to do some writting, the campain is on, let get the
new show started. soul train will always be a land mark. are you ready for
the fight.?
Just not the same without Don and now he’s gone. RIP Don. I grew up
watching ST in the 70’s. A poor white kid livin on soul.
It’s all owned by mr. Mariah Carey now and I mean 100% of soul train and he
wants to bring it back so I guess Mariah gonna sing every week
damn dis song brought a tear to my eye……wow…..flashback…..
see this is the Soul Train I remember because I grew up in the 90’s…but
70’s Soul Train is still the best in my opinion 🙂
Uh, JT even tho i do like 70s and 80s Soul Train too, i strongly disagree
with what ur sayin 110%
omg…. where did you excavated that??? :’D GENIUS!
I have to say i respect the centric t.v network for airing classic episodes
of”soul train” but the thing i hate is 9 times out of 10 they’ll cut out
Don’s intro you all know what i’m talking about(hello your just in time for
another ride on the big train) or sometimes they’ll air half of that intro
atleast when” the best of ST package aired you got to see his whole
intro…..
I think there was a version that had the credits on either side of the
animated train left or right.
I started watching Soul train in the 90s mostly and I can say that show was
one of the best shows ever. R.I.P Don Cornelius thank you for blessing us
with a great show.
Every Saturday back in the early 90’s after Captain Planet went off on TBS
it was Soul Train aka turn the channel time. Too bad I didn’t learn to
appreciate it earlier….
@mimi3000 I know that “Soul Train” has been around longer than any other TV
Show in the last 40 years, (and it seems like that record will stay up for
a while), but let’s face it, when Mr. Cornelius got a grand send-off in
1993 (and a few people remember that), Soul Train got derailed a bit with a
mix of bad hosts and worser ratings (that is, ’til Shemar Moore, and after
that Dorian Gregory, changed it up). But still, if it wasn’t for that show,
younger generations (like me) would be crazy.
I love Stacey Dash
If I remember correctly, when the show first moved to Paramount Studios in
Hollywood in 1993 while using this theme, the set was drastically
overhauled from the set from 1983-1993. It was all thanks to newcomer and
veteran Bruce Ryan for making those changes and remaining with the Soul
Train staff.
@keonta81 Oh OK thanks i didn’t knew
Yeah yo this this era of soul train i grew upon.
I remember recording this episode when I was twelve; Mystikal was the
performer for this episode.
I used to think that but looking back on it Soul Train had some of it’s
best dancers during the 90’s. Many of the guys had that Hip Hop freestyle
approach to dancing that I like.
I started watching Soul Train 1994-2006 episodes
mim,i i remember you from you from comments we use to post when KO use to
post st vids. you and i were always asking for all the mid 90’s clips 🙂 So
im gonna ask you…. post more mid 90s dance seqment clips lol. thanks
I used to watch that channel a lot when I in New York one summer.
“Soul Train” used to air around 12:00 pm in the mid 90’s. I somewhat
remember “Saved By the Bell” coming on in the afternoon on WPIX-11. Of
course this was after it ended on NBC. They used to show the cartoon in the
morning then “Soul Train” came on, then afterwards normally would be an
afternoon movie. Stacey Dash looks so cute up there doing her little dance.
lol
LMAOOOO STACEY DASH NO DANCING ASS

@mimi3000 I’m waiting to see if centric is going to air ST eps from the
early 90’s i wouldn’t mind seeing the last few eps from Don’s final season
as host(1992-93) i hope they show it in the near future plus i wouldn’t
mind them showing ST eps from final part of season 9(1979-80) through
season 14(1984-85) & season 15(1985-86) the best ST season’s from my
youthful days coming up in the 1980’s & 90’s i’m 33 yrs old yeah i know i’m
