JODY WATLEY & JEFFREY DANIELS ON SOUL TRAIN … “SECOND TIME AROUND” &
“TAKE THAT TO THE BANK” MYERSBARCARDI1 FANTASTIC SHARE – THANKS FOR SHARING
… Peace & Blessings Symone
Jody Watley & Jeffrey Daniels on SOUL TRAIN 70’s this was before my time
but i. Did use to watch soul train in the 80s and 90s. Jody Watley talks
about how she became a dancer on soul train in the 70s at 16 years of age
Mane Jeffrey at 2:45 smh pure genius and creativity all you can
say…unzips his jumpsuit, reveals a neck tie then drags himself away with
it. Crazy! One of the greatest always
Jody has style and talent like few these days, her beauty & dance
techniques are above so many other “pop stars” that we see everyday. I miss
Soul Train, it should be on TV, not cable for all of America to enjoy.
Those early days with Don Cornelius are bittersweet. Soul Train and artists
like Jody taught America how to dance and have fun.
It is funny that I used to like Jeffrey because he reminded me of Michael
Jackson, the I found out later that Jeffrey was the one that taught Michael
to moonwalk.
To me Jody has a very sweet, calming , and laid back voice … almost has a
similar speaking cadence as Michael Jackson…I’m I the only one who thinks
this ?
Man! Those two were shit hot dancers. The people behind Shalomar definitely
picked the right two people to join the band. Shalomar were a fantastic
with these two and HH.
But when you see this or when you see JD dancing you get the feeling that
they must have felt a little restricted artistically when they were with
Shalomar.
What has she done to herself. She was beautiful when she was darker with
her own hair none of that hideous make up. Watch the Take that to The Bank
video 1979.
This RULES! What a great showcase for the dynamic dancing talents of the
fabulously funky Jody Watley! I never knew that she got her start as a
dancer on “Soul Train”…What a free-wheelin’ & fun era of her life this
looks to have been…She’s still such a cool lady & quite a class
act..Thanks for posting this!
