Ahh, yes, the “mutinous” Funkadelic–I think they did that “Connections and
Disconnections” album just as George’s Parliament-Funkadelic was
collapsing. I remember reading about about how fans were confused by seeing
this album in the stores alongside “Electric Spanking…” and
“Trombipulation” after hearing about how the band was falling apart:
“Where’s George?”
So many lawsuits, in and out of court, back and forth, Armen Boladian-this,
Warner Brothers-that. Anyway, I’m thankful for “You’ll Like It Too”.
