We are overwhelmed with the news regarding the passing of Don Cornelius. Our deepest sympathy and thoughts are with his family at this time. He was a true television visionary and his contributions to African American culture and music entertainment are immeasurable. The outpouring of affection and tributes to his legacy are a true testament to the profound impact that his life’s work had on many generations. – Kenard Gibbs, Partner/CEO Soul Train Holdings, LLC
I remember coming home from school to watch Soul Train… his voice is
legendary.
The voice you knew that voice from six rooms away when he was on
Deus o abençôe senhor Cornelius. O senhor fez mais que muitos. Apenas
usando a benção da música o senhor derrubou muitos murros e paredes. Murros
de preconceitos. Fez unir homens e mulheres, que as paredes do preconceito
racismo separava. Vamos sentir muito sua falta. Lá onde estiver que Deus e
s anjos o ampare. Eté um dia.
Great video. Don will always be a giant personality for eternity.
RIP Brotha !!!!!!!!!!!!!

The one dislike was a white person with no soooouuuuuuullllllllllllllllllll
The man deserves a statue for what he did for the entertainment industry.
When Soul Train was at its height it surpassed other shows like American
Bandstand, Midnight Special and In concert. All artists wanted to be on
ST…David Bowie, Elton John and more. Bless you Mr. Cornelius.
@Maafa1619 To call you stupid is to elevate your intelligence. In other
words, You’re not even smart enough to be stupid. Now go back to the toilet
you overflowed from.
RIP…
Don was just too smooth. LOL
R.I.P DON!! And the 4 fools who disliked you aint got a clue! for what
reason you disliked is jsut out of spite. For he is one of the leading

He got Marvin, Donnie, Michael and James Brown together for the weekend

For a man who always preached Black is beautiful, can’t figure why he
married a white woman.

May your soul rest in love and peace Don
@sassydiva1231 Keep in mind he had Dementia / Alzheimer’s Disease. A former
Father-in-law has it, and makes people do things.
Timless & classic..there will never be another.
I have never believed a person needed to apologize for their race. Don
Cornelius didn’t care what colour you were. We are all people who love funk
and that is all. Love to Don’s family and friends. He will be greatly
missed. He was part of my teen years. 🙁
The Master & Conductor of the Soul Train- Don Cornelius…wonder how many
people knew that you were pretty smooth on your feet? Thnx 4 the music, the
platform & the fro! 🙂 We will never forget you. Rest in love, peace & soul.
