Another song from “Guardians of the Galaxy,” this one showing up at a
pivotal point of the movie. This was one of the top hits of 1970. They
looked like an episode of Good Times, but the Burke family was quite
talented. Contemporaries with a band a few miles south of them in Gary,
Indiana (The Jackson 5), this family band never got traction on the
national pop charts, but “Ooh Child” is every bit as good a song as
anything the Jackson 5 did. BTW, go see the movie!

This song still has a major impact on people. Things will get easier,
things will get better. Sounds like what grand maa use to say.
