where he admits it and Don Cornelius says “why’d you have to say that on
television” and gets embarrassed.

Jermaine was a pretty big solo star as well as Michael. Almost the entire
Soul Train episode was a feature on Jermaine, who had a couple of big solo
hits at the time. He was the Jackson 5’s next biggest draw, next to
Michael, of course. But the GROUP as a whole was BIG. Every girl back then,
including me, had her favorite. Mine was Jackie!
They were booked on to Soul Train to promote Jermaine’s first solo single,
That’s How Love Goes.
