I wanted a season 2 so badly, that when it got here my expectations were
too high and it shot me the fuck down. Whoever’s been writing for this
season has lost whatever inspiration was behind the first one and replaced
it with cheap offensive shit. Normally I wouldn’t mind this if it were at
least self-aware to some extent, but it doesn’t seem to be. The offensive
parts are relentless like a 20-car pileup and have seriously unfunny
punchlines; the first season at least took the homophobia and sexism in
moderation and coupled it with really hilarious jokes and dialogue. But now
I’m just left wondering, how much of this is just seen as OK by the
writers? Have they lost touch? I’m so disappointed it hurts, this show did
a complete 180
DON CORNELINUS ON SEASON 2 IS WAY MORE BETTER THEN THIS WIMPY VERSION. I
MEAN THEY MADE HIM TO BE A PIMP/MOB BOSS WHO HAVING A TURF WAR WITH DICK
CLARK AND SAMMY DAVIS JR IS THE GODFATHER. NO WONDER WHY PEOPLE ARE SAYING
BLACK DYNAMITE IS THE NEXT BOONDOCKS, NOT ONLY DID SEASON 2 IMPROVED, BUT
LIKE THE BOONDOCKS , BLACK DYNAMITE HAVE BETTER DESIGNS AND STYLES.

Actually, Carl Jones, the former Executive Producer of the Boondocks is the
current director and Executive Producer of Black Dynamite. The series
itself was based off of the movie, but the animation was essentially
directed and overseen by the same person.
