These were the BEST of times! Don’t laugh, but I still wear WIDE legged
pants! Very hard to find in this period of skinny jeans. However, I hear
that the trend will be turning to wider leg jeans according to the
fashionistas. I’ll have to snatch a few up and save them cause I’ll be
wearing them until I HUSTLE off to the next life.
My mom is at 1:27 through 1:37!! i wasnt even born yet haha. She told me
she was on soul train all the time in 69 and 70 so i decided to youtube it
and I found my mom. She was so pretty!! probably one of only a few Latinas
on the show at the time.
man I mwish I was in the days when there were other ways to have fun
dancing besides grinding and doing the robot by yourself. And I’m not
saying I don’t like the robot or that grinding is bad (cuz it gives me a
hard-on and I appreciate that). But nowadays it just feels stupid and
strange to dance and “try” to have fun. But this? This must feel so cool.

get high man?” was common quote when walking the streets lol. and less
govt. interference back then. today were in a police nanny state living.
why can’t people just dance and have fun like this anymore? my cousin back
then use to get all dolled up and go dance? she came home one day with this
song on a 45? and she showed me how she danced to this song? we turn that
ol t.v off pop popcorn and dnace away? we had a blast? I MISS THOSE DAYS 🙂
