Yeah, insane amounts of cocaine around in the mid 70’s (someone wanted to
know why everyone was so skinny?) Entertainment industry, middle class and
even big business & gov’t. You needed the $ for that. Crack appeared in the
late 70’s and spread like an epidemic in inner cities in the 80s. Even a
small amount can provide an intense (very short) rush and poorer folks
could afford to pay $5,$10 or $20. But crack is really a different drug &
the compulsive craving takes over lives completely.
@TheRocketSilo Yes but back then whites knew who they were and felt
comfortable being among their white selves. They didn’t have time for this
what they called foolishness. They were proud to have NO rhythm. It made them
whiter and happier. But today they are lost souls looking scratching and
sucking for any form of identity they can attach themselves to.So they are
everywhere blacks are while trying to claiming everything black create as
their invention or perfection.Sad but true.
@frankde69 of course not, its unfortunate good people are gone the good
part now is we r still around to remember them and enjoy what they left for
us…;)
