Y’all know that first chick was half-black n half-Flip right?
This completely f**kin blows! Soul train in the 70’s please!!! Isley
brothers “fight the power” ’75. Stevie Wonder “superstition ’71…..how did
things get so shit? It had lost its colour, sparkle, funk and most of all
its happiness! So sad!
@patrice redding who was the soul train dancer that wore the visor shades
and all he did was point at people while they danced lol
Whose the first dancer?
Who was the first dancer.
I think after 1997, they started moving the camera around more with the
female dancers than the male dancers to get better shots of them.
Is that Red off of Friday at 2:33? Lol!!!
Wow, that was a weird choice for the line. Too sloooooowwww…
Soul Train in the 1990’s
Who’s the girl at 0:42 with the white top shorts?
remember this episode like it was yesterday RIP Nate Dogg
ya im sorry the 80s ST was way more dope
That Asian girl was my favorite dancer!
I think in the 80’s, it lost the soul, and ended up only playing pop and
and rock on Soul Train, at least it brought back the Soul in the 90’s.
whats the asian chick name. I remember her….
Apple startin it off!! She was an absolute cutie.
Omg I agree, in the 70s it was all about bell bottoms, platforms and
Afros,I love how soul train kept the show going in the 90s when Don
Cornelius became a behind the scenes man and remained there all the way to
the final episode. Thanx for the comment
Trust me they played a lot of wacky music….. We were all having fun thats
why you see so many of us clowning around while we were dancing!!!! Soul
Train dancer 94-2001……
Sorry late 90’s of Soul Train don’t do it for me
1:48, those tits
ST WAS great in the 70s and 80s but for all the over-nostalgic folks the
90s were on another planet – the dancing was freakin’ outta this worold,
the attitude was fresh and this is one the best-looking line-ups I ever
seen
You know there’s something wong in a black club when the only Asian there
is the best dancer there. #dontdodrugs
Man, I wish I could get some copies of the shows in the late 90’s, I was a
dancer and i see Apple, frederick, Monique, loonie, tracy, etc……
OMG!!!!! Lookin for the 1 with Ginuwine (“Only when ur lonely) orange silk
shirt…..color may be different….
omg i just turned 10 17 days prior to this episode
The 70’s had that funk and that rhythm in the soul train lines. The 80’s
was a little more energetic while the 90’s tried to smooth it out.
I’m a 90s babi so I grew up with Soul Train in the 90s the music and the
clothes was hot
I love the 70s, 80s and 90s. Now I’m showing my age oh well. 🙂 My family
watched Soul Train as far back as I can remember every Saturday evening at
4:00 after American Bandstand and WWF, those were awesome days.
