This completely f**kin blows! Soul train in the 70’s please!!! Isley
brothers “fight the power” ’75. Stevie Wonder “superstition ’71…..how did
things get so shit? It had lost its colour, sparkle, funk and most of all
its happiness! So sad!

Who was the first dancer.

S Middle says:

I think after 1997, they started moving the camera around more with the
female dancers than the male dancers to get better shots of them.

Felicia Williams says:

Is that Red off of Friday at 2:33? Lol!!!

I think in the 80’s, it lost the soul, and ended up only playing pop and
and rock on Soul Train, at least it brought back the Soul in the 90’s.

llanib says:

StefanUrquel says:

Apple startin it off!! She was an absolute cutie.

Tracy Jackson says:

Omg I agree, in the 70s it was all about bell bottoms, platforms and
Afros,I love how soul train kept the show going in the 90s when Don
Cornelius became a behind the scenes man and remained there all the way to
the final episode. Thanx for the comment

ST WAS great in the 70s and 80s but for all the over-nostalgic folks the
90s were on another planet – the dancing was freakin’ outta this worold,
the attitude was fresh and this is one the best-looking line-ups I ever
seen

Althea Ennever says:

You know there’s something wong in a black club when the only Asian there
is the best dancer there. #dontdodrugs

patrice redding says:

Man, I wish I could get some copies of the shows in the late 90’s, I was a

KO Kingz Slikk Rulaz says:

The 70’s had that funk and that rhythm in the soul train lines. The 80’s
was a little more energetic while the 90’s tried to smooth it out.

Morgan West says:

I’m a 90s babi so I grew up with Soul Train in the 90s the music and the

Antonio Arnold says:

I love the 70s, 80s and 90s. Now I’m showing my age oh well. 🙂 My family
watched Soul Train as far back as I can remember every Saturday evening at
4:00 after American Bandstand and WWF, those were awesome days.
