I LOVED Soul Train back in the day…70’s funk, soul and R&B are my heart.
Even us white kids who grew up back then knew a great dance groove when we
heard it. I miss the 70’s. RIP Don Cornelius…your legacy will live on for
future generations.
THE SOOOOOUL TRAIN! Words and images that even the haters know. The great
producer Mr. Cornelius made a place for ALL of us to dance and enjoy the
contemporary fashion, hippest slang and music. He set the standard for all
show of the genre. RIP, DON CORNELIUS
@TheHeftron No matter what happened in his life, your comments are
incredibly rude and insensitive. He WILL be remembered. What have YOU done
for the world, lately? I hope they pull your comment! RIP, DON CORNELIUS
My all-time favorite classic show!!!! Every weekend I would record the
entire hour of this wonderful show!!!! Back then, Soul Train had real music
and real singing, compared to today’s music, which is pure crap, in my
opinion. R.I.P. Don. Soul Train will live forever!
I was 8 years old when I saw MR Don Cornelius for the first time on WGN. So
cool,so smooth. I was transfixed. Minutes later he introduces James Brown
whos performance ripped my face off. Sublime. Get on the Good Foot. Indeed.
i love this…thanks for sharing this my family loves seeing this…i was
there when michael performed with his brothers so incredible!
This is what I remember when I was a teen. The good old days.
