A remake of the original TSOP (The Sound Of Philadelphia) composed by Gamble and Huff produced by George Duke (vocalized by Howard Hewett). In addition, the opening sequence changes again to a modernized version of the intro first used on Episode 411; the space background changes to blue, the planet is silver and no longer has a solar eclipse but has train tracks forming, the train is now more 3D CGI, and the city skyline becomes a magenta segmented-lined version. Two years later this remake will be remixed by George to to become Soul Train’s theme as the series heads into the 1990’s
A remixed version of the theme song, “TSOP ’89”, is introduced in this season. .R.I.P. George Duke
在Mtv,Chnel V還沒在台開播前,余光的閃亮的節奏一定是五六年級接觸西洋音樂的管道,這是節目的片頭曲。
